UNIDO and Iran’s Supreme Council for Science, Research and Technology to jointly work on industrial policies in support of investments in education, research and technology
VIENNA, 6 July 2015 - The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the Supreme Council for Science, Research and Technology (SCSRT) of the Islamic Republic of Iran have agreed to work together on formulating industrial policies and strategies for investments in education, research and technology.

VIENNA, 6 July 2015 - The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the Supreme Council for Science, Research and Technology (SCSRT) of the Islamic Republic of Iran have agreed to work together on formulating industrial policies and strategies for investments in education, research and technology.

This was agreed today during a meeting between LI Yong, the Director General of UNIDO, and Mohammad Abooyee Ardakan, Deputy Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Science, Research and Technology, Head of the National Research Institute for Science Policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran. 

Both sides noted their interest in identifying, on an annual basis, suitable projects relating to the above areas of cooperation for joint resource mobilisation in accordance with the respective policies, procedures, rules and regulations of UNIDO and SCSRT.
